Happy New Year!

We had a ridiculously silly and spectacularly fun New Year's Eve at Casa Miller this year. The boys decided they wanted to eat Boston Market for dinner, so we brought it home and ate it off of our formal Wedgwood china. We tasted some sparkling grape juice (our bubbly) from our Waterford crystal wine glasses. And we enjoyed the whole meal by candlelight. It was great! For dessert, we made some very tasty New Year's cupcakes. Jacks and Cody were happy to lend a hand with the frosting. And by that I mean occasionally putting some ON the cupcakes while mostly licking it off their fingers. ;)
Note the tongue poking out of the corner of his mouth in this one...he was frosting those cupcakes with Michael Jordan-esque intensity and concentration. :)Luke mainly toddled around eating all the cupcakes and making goofy faces.
But Anthony decided to play with my camera last night and he took a bunch of Luke and Mama.
Mama gave Luke a kiss, so he decided to reciprocate...a little less teeth next time might be nice. Finally, Cody and Anthony made these fun numbers and so we posed for our official New Year's portrait. Happy 2009! May your year be filled with love and laughter.

First, your "stars bursting in air... are a gorgeous background! I loved the pictures of your formal dinner with sparkling grape juice in your crystal goblets! Jacks looks as though he liked the "fine wine" while Cody wasn't so sure (on the other hand, he was full of approval for the cupcakes!)
The New Year numbers are great! And I think the people look pretty fine too! Thanks for sharing your New Year's Eve with us!
