Fun at the Zoo

To take advantage of the gorgeous weather, Mom and I took the boys to the zoo on Thursday. We saw elephants, giraffes, monkeys, rhinos, flamingos, and otters! I rented a wagon when we got there, and the boys walked most of the time but were able to hitch a ride when their legs got tired. The sun was bright so most of my pictures got washed out and Cody was not interested in posing at all, but I did get a few cute shots. We can't wait to go back again!

Tuesday in the Park with Jacks and Cody

We just HAD to get out and enjoy the warmer weather yesterday, so we headed to a nature preserve not far from our house. The boys enjoyed the playground, but their favorite part was going down by the creek, wading in the water, and making big splashes with the rocks. In the 2nd picture, you can see the big bump/scrape on Jackson's head where he tripped and landed on his forehead (that happened the day before, though, on the way into school). I'm so glad we spent the time outside, because it's supposed to get colder again tomorrow.
