Happy Halloween!

What a great Halloween! The weather was just beautiful (note the almost full moon behind us in the picture above), and we went Trick or Treating with the handsomest Superhero Trio around!

Plus, we were lucky to have Grandad joining us (but we missed you, Gramma!).

This year, we drove to a few particular houses to start off our Trick or Treating. First, we visited one of Cody's preschool teachers who happens to live just one street over from us. He was SO excited to see her!

Then, we traveled to Jackson's 2nd Grade teacher's house. She had a guest book for him to sign and a special bag of goodies just for her students.

Luke loved wearing his costume and enjoyed getting candy (he even said "tickor tee" and "sankoo"), but we did encounter one guy in a scary mask who thoroughly freaked Luke out. So he stuck pretty close to Daddy after that.

On our drive, we happened to notice this amazing house and decided to stop. Jackson gawked at it and said, "That has to be the coolest Halloween house EVER." It was incredible!

I wonder how much Jackson could really see out of his mask?

Batman, Iron Man and Spider Man, showing off their awesome costumes!

And I got the best treat of the night...a snuggle with the cutest Spider Man in history!

Happy Halloween!

Spidey!

Luke was invited to wear his Halloween costume to Gymboree yesterday, and he had so much fun! He actually wore it into Cody's school for drop-off, and he insisted on visiting his teachers who ooh'd and aah'd appreciatively over his big padded muscles and the fact that he kept his face-mask on. :)

He was so proud of his "cah-soom." We can't wait for Halloween!

Pumpkin Festival

Since Anthony was at work when we went to the pumpkin patch the other day, we decided to take him to the one at the Arboretum this weekend. Gramma and Grandad met us there for a beautiful day!

The big draw is this cool pumpkin house.

But we enjoyed all the fountains, flowers, butterflies, and playhouses, too. :)

Thanks to Grandad for the assist with the pictures!

And since we're all getting into a Halloween-y mood with all these pumpkins, here's a fun little video the boys and I made the other night. Do the Mash (click here)!

The Great Pumpkins

The sun finally came out this afternoon, so we decided to visit Owens Farm, home of our favorite pumpkin patch. The boys had such a great time feeding the goats, riding the tractor, and running through the pumpkin field.

Cody was on a search for the "perfect" pumpkin. It was quite a process, including despair, disguises, and finally....success!

Luke was pretty pleased with his pumpkin, too.

Jacks enjoyed chatting with this cool spider.

We all had fun with this big pile of pumpkins.

What a great day! Now, we'll wait for the Great Pumpkin. We'll see him. Just you wait, Charlie Brown! :)

Stripes!

Luke has decided that he loves stripes and wants to wear them everyday. This morning, I unearthed a pair of red Cons that used to belong to Cody when he was about this age, and between those and the striped shirt I also found, he was in heaven!

"That's right, I'm bad! Meaning good!"

"I'm a little teapot. And look, my shoes match, too!"

Luke tired pretty quickly of me trying to capture his outfit on film, and he came in for some close-ups.

Here's his headshot for his "Vampire Diaries" audition. Check out those pointy chompers!

The cuteness!

"Do-bee-do-bee-do."

"Look out, girls. Between my dimples, my cheek bones, and my baby blues...you don't stand a chance."
