What a Week!

It has been bonkers around here! Illness and milestones as far as the eye can see! Since last Thursday, we have had:

1 3-hour sinus surgery (Anthony)
2 sinus infections (Meg and Cody)
1 case of whooping cough (Jacks)
1 orthodontic appliance, with the added fun of head gear, acquired (Jacks)
1 family member learning how to tie his shoes (ALSO Jacks)
1 family member learning how to WALK!!!!!!!!!!! (Go Luke, Go!!)

And the number of us looking forward to a hopefully healthier and happier (though those milestones sure made us smile and cheer!) weekend, complete with birthday cake...5. :)

Now that is an impressive list, Miller Family!
And the black/white photo is perfect...what a riot! Understandably, I'll take the milestones
(Luke walking...he might as well! he's already dancing with Mama...& Jacks learning to tie his shoes. Hurray!!!)
I thought Jacks had croup (thus all the silly grandmother comments about "barking"), but Whooping Cough?! (Another thing Mama & Jacks share...Meg & Mom had to be quarrantined to our house in Toronto during which Mom went nuts trying to think up things to do with Meg so we made a tent out of the dining room table with a sheet; Dad made a cool ramp for Meg to run down all her play cars & other vehicles & one desperate afternoon, Mom put on marching music; we put on silly hats & grabbed some of Meg's play instruments & marched & marched & marched around our little house. I think you were around 2 to 2 1/2, Meg. Meg, your whooping cough I understand as you had such a bad reaction to your DPT shot as a baby (high fever) that the doctor in Malaysia left out the "P" of the DPT for the rest of the series of that shot, but Jacks did have all of his DPT shots, right?! So how, with what would have been a mild case, did Dr. Blair ever diagnose him with it? What was the clue? And, where did Jacks pick it up? (silly question...school!)Well, anyway, Miller Family, it's time to kick all this stuff & GET WELL !!!!!!
We can't have Mama feeling like the poor, little horse (donkey?) in the photo!!!!!!!!!
