After visiting the classroom for "Meet the Teacher" and seeing their play kitchen, he just couldn't wait for school to officially start. And he had a wonderful day! He couldn't stop talking about all the things he did! Bubble painting, playing on the playground (driving a pretend car), music class (singing a song with clapping hands and they played bells and did a silly dance), and reading pirate books.
It was SUCH a difference from the pulling-teeth scenario we often get with Jacks ("How was your day? Fine. What did you do? Nothing. Who did you see? No one."), and an amazing difference from Cody's first day last year. I really hope his enthusiasm for school continues!
He said he wanted to go back tomorrow and wanted to know how many minutes until Thursday. :)

Cody is so cute and I love to hear about his enthusiasm for school! I am sad to hear that you have to pull teeth when talking to Jackson about his day. I have to say...we did some fun stuff in Kindergarten and I was sure he would have told you about it! :)
Oh girl, I think it's a genetic thing, nothing to do with what he actually did during the day. And don't worry, I'm so good at teeth-pulling, I should have been a dentist. I eventually get all the details, whether he wants to share them or not. :)
